During the second week of next half term, we will be having the inspirational person speaking assessment that was postponed last term (Mr. McInnes' class, you will also be doing the Alien discussion assessment; the alien information sheet can be found below for anyone who has lost it.) Below you will find an example presentation, accompanying PowerPoint and the cue cards (notes from your presentation to remind you what you are saying.) Please spend some time practising your presentation so that you are confident and familiar with what you are saying. As this is a speaking assessment, reading your presentation out won't be acceptable.

Below you will find the words and an audio file of the Welsh poem Year 6 will need to learn for this year's Eisteddfod.

PE will take place on a TUESDAY. Please ensure your child has the correct kit and leave jewellery at home. Any recently pierced ears must be covered with tape. It is advisable to leave earrings at home as pupils are often unable to remove them independently.

SPELLINGS will be sent home on a MONDAY. There will be a spelling test on the following MONDAY.  MATHS HOMEWORK is posted online on FRIDAY. This should be completed by the following TUESDAY.
